Cllr Freddie Tandy
Littlehampton Town Councillor for Courtwick with Toddington Ward

About Me
I am proud to have been first elected to Littlehampton Town Council 2015, the first newly elected Labour Councillor in my home town for more than a decade, and then re-elected in 2019 for Courtwick with Toddington ward.
Born and bred in Littlehampton, I am passionate about improving our town for future generations, and I am particularly keen on improving the offerings and opportunities available to the youngest members of our society. I am particularly proud to have joined the Management Committee of the Keystone Centre in Wick, and to be Vice-Chair of the Council’s Community Resources Committee, where I have supported many positive initiatives for young people, including investment in a redeveloped Skate Park at Sea Road, and plans to introduce a Youth Mayor for Littlehampton.
I am also keen to see Littlehampton become a place where local people can thrive, with sufficient affordable housing being provided as part of the ongoing developements and expansions to the town. As part of this, I am determined to fight for appropriate infrastructure so as to ensure that housing is not always fervently opposed, but instead welcomed as an opportunity to make our town even better, with improved health, community and educational facilities forthcoming. I championed this particularly as the County Council candidate for the north of the town in 2017.
